Description aix 2011-05-16 03:35:44 UTC
Original bug reported by Yaniv Eylon in:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=481954

Description:
GuestOS: WinXP-acpi

when working with Spice on an acpi guest in the power management (under control
panel) you can see the option of turn off monitor which has no meanning and
does not work

openning the same guest usin RDP this option can not be found on this menu due
to the fact it is irrelevant for this type of disply.

1. make this invisibale
2. add to the RN that option is not working

Is this still relevant? I don't really understand the use case.

I'd say the driver shouldn't claim acpi management somehow. Or at least, if it did, it should have an expected behaviour (turn off monitor)
