I'm trying unsuccessfully to install pkg-config on a system that does not have a working pkg-config. PROBLEM: ./configure checking for pkg-config... /usr/lib ./configure: line 13540: /usr/lib: is a directory configure: error: pkg-config not found This not a legal dependency for pkg-config.
