Created attachment 46908 [details] Screenshot of the problem Under Mac OS X HIG it is normal for windows to be redrawn as they are resized. LibreOffice windows do no do this and instead pause updates during the redraw. There should be no need to do this, as all other applications on my system have no trouble redrawing fast enough to redraw during a resize. This makes the software appear: * Slower than it is * Unfinished * As if it is not part of the rest of the system It should be simple enough to disable whatever code is pausing redraw during a resize. Perhaps it is left over from when this was required due to much slower system?
The screenshot looks not good. Could some one using Mac reproduce this? Thanks~
I don't doubt what the reporter says. Still, this is just a cosmetic glitch and an enhancement request. People who pay attention to details like this and are hugely annoyed by it hardly want to use LibreOffice anyway?
Yeah, you could say it's cosmetic, but I gave LibreOffice a go for the first time yesterday and the first thing I did was open a document and go to resize the window to fit my screen and instantly I was "WHOAH! What the hell's wrong with this software?"
