Description Jimmy 2011-05-24 05:11:55 UTC
PCLinuxOS fully updated as of March 24, 2011
LibO 3.3.1 release

tried to insert a hyperlink to a text file (stupid idea?)
Insert > Hyperlink

followed the path to a directory where there are .txt files
cold not see these files
clicked o.k.
manually added "text1.txt" without the quotes to the path in the "Insert Hyperlink" window
clicked o.k.
this sent my laptop berserk.
windows flickering about, no chance other than to turn the power off.

rebootet
invoked LibO
"do you want to recover the file so and so?"
"yes"
recovery in progress...

after recovery, the same wild flickering
turned off the power again.

bootet
removed the impress file xyz.odp

invoked LibO
selected to create new file
all is fine except

THE "INSERT HYPERLINK" WINDOW IS OPEN in this new file!

regards,

Jim
