Description Joey Dumont 2011-06-02 07:35:50 UTC
Every time I try to launch Calc (be it a new instance or by clicking on a file) when using a dual-monitor setup (both screens are on), the application crashes and crashes my session.

I'm using GNOME 3.0 in fallback mode. Same result when not in fallback mode. When it crashes, I find myself back at the GDM login screen.

The solution is to turn off one of the screens, and then it works fine.

Andras,

I think that maybe the this bug and https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37969 are related, but I didn't notice any problems when
opening new instances/documents of LO when LO is started after running in dual
screen mode.

I my case LO didn't crash the X server.

I use KDE 4.6.3 on Fedora 15

On Windows 7 I am using a dual monitor setup and I don't get a crash, but my issue could be related to this one.

Opening an existing spreadsheet - OK
Make a change and save - OK
Re-open that spreadsheet - all data lost, speed and result is like it did File/New, though the spreadsheet file stays as big as it was.

I have reported this as bug 38080 (8-Jun-2011)

RC2 is bit by bit identical with release version, so separate items in the version picker are useless. Changes have been discussed with Michael Meeks.
