Description Diego 2005-07-26 03:40:00 UTC
it says:
Error: Kid object (page 350) is wrong type (null)
Error: Page count in top-level pages object is incorrect
Error: Couldn't read page catalog

gv also gives an error but can display it.

The document is almost 5 megs, and i don't know where to put it so that you can
fix the bug.

Can you retry with a more recent poppler version, and if it is still a problem, find somewhere that the problem document can be made available?
Comment 2 Pino Toscano 2008-10-05 07:35:19 UTC
Hello Diego,

any news on this bug? It would be nice if you could try with a more recent Poppler version, given that we don't have the document to test for real.

there is a similar issue on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337500 using poppler 0.10 current tarball

"When I tried to open the a PDF-file, I get this error:

Unable to open document
Failed to read the document catalog

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/23396673/Declaratieformulier_ziektekosten.pdf
the error in xpdf is:
Error: Catalog object is wrong type (null)
Error: Couldn't read page catalog
XtUngrabButton(drawArea,3,0)
Warning: Attempt to remove nonexistent passive grab"
