Description Arnaud Lacombe 2011-06-28 21:12:58 UTC
Filling and saving a "fillable" PDF document, with evince, creates a file incompatible with at least Google Chrome PDF reader, FoxIt reader and Adobe Acrobat.

Other evince are able to read the file just fine.

corrupt pdf document

This document was created from the content returned by

http://www36.immigration-quebec.ca/

the string "foobar" was added to the first input line, and saved. FoxIt Reader is unable to open the produced document.

I encountered this issue at least for document issued by Quebec and by Federal Canadian Government.
Comment 4 Hib Eris 2011-11-01 13:44:25 UTC
Most likely, this is already fixed by commit ec6ea621b066a3b332a8099341664889d2ff3743

In that case, version 0.18.0 should be working fine.

Arnoud, which poppler version do you use? And could you check if this is still a problem for you if you use version >= 0.18.0 ?
Comment 5 Fabio D'Urso 2012-04-23 11:03:18 UTC
It still does not work as of 0.19.3
