Filling and saving a "fillable" PDF document, with evince, creates a file incompatible with at least Google Chrome PDF reader, FoxIt reader and Adobe Acrobat. Other evince are able to read the file just fine.

I encountered this issue at least for document issued by Quebec and by Federal Canadian Government.
Most likely, this is already fixed by commit ec6ea621b066a3b332a8099341664889d2ff3743 In that case, version 0.18.0 should be working fine. Arnoud, which poppler version do you use? And could you check if this is still a problem for you if you use version >= 0.18.0 ?
