When attempting to start the X server system crashs back to the VT. after looking though the log the thing that stood out is I830CheckAvailableMemory: -546335840 kB available and /dev/agpgart is either not available, or no memory is available both agpgart and intel_agp are build as modules and are loaded. /dev/agpgart does exist in /dev. The problem does not appear in 6.8.2. My system configuration is Slackware-Current gcc-3.3.5 glibc-2.3.5 binutils-2.15.92 celeron-D 2.93Ghz 256MB Ram
Created attachment 3169 [details] Full Xorg.log file this is the log out from the server
also wanted to add that I do have VideoRAM 32768 in my Device section
Can you attach a copy of these two files... 1. /usr/src/linux/include/linux/agpgart.h and 2. /usr/include/linux/agpgart.h
Fixed. Upgrade to X.Org 6.9/7.0
