Description Pascal Potvin 2005-08-03 13:52:52 UTC
I'm using ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog (5.04).

Each time xcompmgr fails (for unknown reasons), I have to restart xcompmgr, and
killall gnome-panel so that my windows don't go over the panel.

Right after that, if I send a keyboard event to my desktop (like "delete" to
erase the selected folder, the event is sent to the last used window, and the
desktop doesn't get the event. It's annoying, and I can erase other folders by
mistake because of this bug.

I can't imagine that this is still an issue. Closing. Please reopen with more information if it reproduces with modern software.
