Example of .wps showing bug

Some MS Works .wps documents load as blank documents. The sample file is from www.writersedgeservice.com/filebrowser/proposalsfiction.asp

cad7593009.wps (in attachment) - opens blank, if I look at the properties pane it
claims it has 1 page with 0 characters.
fot4813409.wps and mot6312910.wps open correctly as plain text but with no formatting. They look totally different from how they do in Wordview.

Tested here on Windows XP SP3 but it is confirmed on Linux and Mac builds.

Confirmed with [Win2K LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:203)].

File loads correctly with GO-OO 3.2.1.
Comment 2 NoOp 2011-08-12 12:36:36 UTC
Confirmed w/3.4.2 Final (linux and Windows).

LO 3.3.3 Final opens the document for editing with text.
Comment 3 Daveo 2011-08-12 18:24:24 UTC
Confirmed 3.4.2 Final (Linux and Windows)opens an empty one page document.
3.3.2 (Linux) opens an (apparently) complete 8 page document.

Hello,
this file contains in the main section a fdpp structure with 82 FODs, which was not allowed in the previous version of libwps but this is probably fixed by http://libwps.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/libwps?revision=213&view=revision...
Comment 5 Dave Sergeant 2011-08-31 05:37:20 UTC
Bug still present in LO 3.4.3 Final Windows

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

Comment 7 Dave Sergeant 2011-12-30 08:14:35 UTC
This appears to be fixed in 3.5.0 Beta 2 on Windows XP SP3. I have updated the status to RESOLVED.
