This is a follow-up of issue http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117239 Greasemonkey script says that this issue is fixed in LibreOffice but it is false. I have tested the file Plan2011.ods and LibreOffice 3.4.3 rc1 and master (Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64) crash as described. Master says : terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): std::bad_alloc Aborted (core dumped) Best regards. JBF
Confirmed with [Win2K LibreOffice 3.3.4 OOO330m19 (Build:401)].
I cannot even seem to open it on LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) for OpenSuse Linux. I click the link and the LO window appears but is frozen, and after 10 seconds application terminates by itself with no message of row adjustment or error message. Do not know if this is confirmation or anything, though.
(In reply to comment #2) > and after 10 seconds application terminates by itself with no message of row adjustment or error message. Do not know if this is confirmation or anything, though. Termination == crash == confirmation.
[This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html
LO 3.4.5 rc1 still crashes when opening the test file but not LO 3.5.0 beta2+ (LibreOffice 3.5.0beta2+ Version ID : 8f03437-7f15fca-1fc8c06-ca8e46d-b96fade) Setting as fixed. Best regards. JBF
