Hi,

After avcenc testing, I faced the follow problem when my work on both master and vaapi branch.

[drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung
[drm] capturing error event; look for more information in /debug/dri/0/i915_error_state
[drm:i915_wait_request] *ERROR* i915_wait_request returns -11 (awaiting 13 at 0, next 14)

reproduce steps:
1. xinit&
2. install libva
3. ./avcenc

Chao, it's a regression. Can you bisect the driver to check which commit makes it bad? Thanks

I could not reproduce it today on IVB. What is the test file for avcenc you are using?

Maybe, For the hardware upgrading now, you could not reproduce it. 

The issue can be reproduced on the platform(id=0x0162, rev 02), and I can reproduce it now. 
May be your platform is (id=0x0152, rev 04) or (id=0x0162, rev 04),I tryed to reproduce it , and found it can work well on (id=0x0152, rev 04) or (id=0x0162, rev 04) platform.
