Steps to reproduce:

(* Ensure you save data in all open applications)
* Open Impress
* In the status bar, click on the far right of the zoom slider
* Enjoy crash.

I'm using Ubuntu x86-64, with an Intel graphics card.

Failed to reproduce on LibreOffice 3.4  340m1(Build:103) for OpenSuse Linux KDE. No crash when zooming to 3000%, which I think is the maximum?

Even if it crashes X under some circumstances that's not a fault of LibO then.
