After chosing an ods file address data base, LibreOffice gets locked when trying to apply a filter. The odb file which has been made from the ods file is looks empty (size is 0, but this pay be normal if it is buffered somewhere). LibreOffice 3.3.3 OOO330m19 (Build:301) tag libreoffice-3.3.3.1, Ubuntu package 1:3.3.3-1ubuntu2
Hi Jean-Marie, I see your bug while looking for something else. Sorry that you got no response before. But I do not understand exactly what you describe. Where/how do you apply a filter? And also: have you been able to do this in a more recent version? Thanks - Cor

The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html
Using LO 3.5.3rc0 on Fedora 16 (x86_64) I can't reproduce this problem Steps 1) Make up a Writer mailmerge document 2) Identify an LO spreadsheet as the data source 3) Put in some (fairly random) fields 4) Specify a filter My filter is active because the source data display changes to show only the data matching the filter. Writer has not locked up, I can move the cursor around, change the filter... Already fixed?
