Description hudsonfury 2011-09-06 16:22:52 UTC
The computer is a Apple OS X Version 10.5.8 (Leopard)
Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

There is no Thesaurus in the tools menu of Text Document, and
that when I "right-clicked" on a word, there was no Synonyms option.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

NOT REPRODUCIBLE with LibreOffice 3.5.5.3 (Build ID: 7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21), German langpack installed, on MacOS X 1.6.8 German. For both English and German text, Thesaurus and "Synonyms" work as expected.

> There is no Thesaurus in the tools menu of Text Document
Well, the menu item "Thesaurus" is in the sub-menu "Tools > Language >".

@hudsonfury:
Can you please check if this issue is still reproducible for you with the current version of LibreOffice, i.e. 3.5.5 (or 3.6 in about two weeks)? Thank you!

Else we should probably just close this issue.
