The computer is a Apple OS X Version 10.5.8 (Leopard) Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. There is no Thesaurus in the tools menu of Text Document, and that when I "right-clicked" on a word, there was no Synonyms option.

NOT REPRODUCIBLE with LibreOffice 3.5.5.3 (Build ID: 7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21), German langpack installed, on MacOS X 1.6.8 German. For both English and German text, Thesaurus and "Synonyms" work as expected. > There is no Thesaurus in the tools menu of Text Document Well, the menu item "Thesaurus" is in the sub-menu "Tools > Language >". @hudsonfury: Can you please check if this issue is still reproducible for you with the current version of LibreOffice, i.e. 3.5.5 (or 3.6 in about two weeks)?
