Screen capture of part of the misrendered presentation

On the presentation at:

http://lhc-commissioning.web.cern.ch/lhc-commissioning/news-2011/presentations/week35/110905_TS_Summary.pptx

I see on each page a column of text on the left hand side; ; it looks like two overlayed sets of text, both rendered horizontally but with one character per line - it can't be right. I don't have MS office to compare against.

Please see attached screen capture.

On Ubuntu Oneiric Beta on x86-64. Help shows LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:203); ubuntu package: libreoffice-impress 1:3.4.2-2ubuntu3

Looked fine with "LibreOffice Portable 3.3.3 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (Build:301 Tag 3.3.3.1)]", so regression

Some PPTX regression - Rodo, time to have a look?
Comment 3 Björn Michaelsen 2011-12-23 13:27:02 UTC
Since all new unconfirmed bugs start in state UNCONFIRMED now and old unconfirmed bugs were moved to NEEDINFO with a explanatory comment, all bugs promoted above those bug states to NEW and later are automatically confirmed making the CONFIRMED whiteboard status redundant. Thus it will be removed.

On pc Debian x86-64 with 3.5 sources updated today, I don't reproduce this problem.

Dave: could you give a try to a newer LO version (3.5.7 or 3.6.2) and tell us if it's ok or not for you?
Comment 5 Dave Gilbert 2012-10-28 13:43:29 UTC
Hi Julien,
I can confirm it's fine on 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)) on Ubuntu Quantal. Thanks folks.
