When LibreOffice is using its own custom-drawn widgets (when it's *not* using GTK or Qt integration), buttons on the toolbars are drawn so that it is impossible to tell without a close look whether they are depressed (i.e. "active", "selected") or not.  There is only a faint outline drawn around the icon in the button, and it's nearly the same color as the button background.  This makes it difficult to tell (for example) whether I have boldface or italics turned on.

Please see attached screenshot.  Note that the "italics" button is depressed, but you have to look carefully to see that it is so.

OS is Arch Linux x86_64 (rolling release).

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
