Description Filipus Klutiero 2011-09-12 13:00:19 UTC
The manual page for radeon contains:

REDWOOD
 Radeon HD 5550/5570/5670

There are several more Redwood cards, including the following Mobility Radeons:
5650, 5730, 5750, 5770, 6530M, 6550M and 6570M.

I switched from fglrx to radeon and am using it on a 5650 with no issues since several hours.

I've updated the man page, but note that the marketing names listed in the man page are just a sampling and that there may be lots of other marketing names out that that are still supported by the driver.

Thank you very much for the commit.

Note that the page is a little unclear on the fact that lists of cards are non-exhaustive. The text announces a list of chips, but gives a list of chips *and card names*.

Instead of something like

REDWOOD
  HD 5650, HD 5700 [...]

JUPITER
[...]

It could be presented as:

REDWOOD (including HD 5650, HD 5700 [...])

JUPITER
[...]

A table would have been nice, but won't work great in manual format :-(
It could be explained in text too.
