The manual page for radeon contains: REDWOOD Radeon HD 5550/5570/5670 There are several more Redwood cards, including the following Mobility Radeons: 5650, 5730, 5750, 5770, 6530M, 6550M and 6570M. I switched from fglrx to radeon and am using it on a 5650 with no issues since several hours.

Thank you very much for the commit. Note that the page is a little unclear on the fact that lists of cards are non-exhaustive. The text announces a list of chips, but gives a list of chips *and card names*. Instead of something like REDWOOD HD 5650, HD 5700 [...] JUPITER [...] It could be presented as: REDWOOD (including HD 5650, HD 5700 [...]) JUPITER [...] A table would have been nice, but won't work great in manual format :-( It could be explained in text too.
