Same formula but forcing the second parameter as a local string does not show error: =HYPERLINK("file:///C:/Documents and Settings/Olivier Hallot/Desktop/123/data.ods";"test case") Seems that the second argument, which is expected to be a string is not well understood in the function evaluation.
