The master slide in a presentation has different font sizes for different leves of an outline. On a regular slide, changing a line by demoting or promoting the outline level (with the buttons on the toolbar, or with tab/shift tab) changes the indentation level but does not change the font size.

Thanks for bugreport To assign different font size to outline: 1. press F11 to open Stylist pane 2. switch to AutoLayouts type on top of pane 3. select needed Outline style and right click on it, select Modify 4. select tab "Font", change font size, press OK.
