Description James Andrewartha 2005-08-15 10:43:43 UTC
automake 1.4 didn't ship with python.m4, so autogen.sh needs to ask for 1.6 or
later.

On my system (Ubuntu 5.10), no version of aclocal finds the python.m4 macro
file. My workaround for it is to type:

aclocal -I /usr/share/aclocal-1.9 <- contains python.m4
autoheader
automake-1.9
autoconf

(bug triage) Hmm, this have never caused me problems on Fedora. Please reopen if
you can still reproduce and have a patch to fix it.
