Description thatmtnman 2011-09-29 08:08:50 UTC
Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....enter a value into a cell
2. ....copy the value
3. ....drag the value to the right to fill as many cells as you want
4....once cells are populated with the number, hit enter to finish

Current behavior: the copy function auto increments the values of the cells by the number 1. So for example, if you are copying the value of 600 across 12 cells (as in an annual budget for rent), the original cell will show as 600, but the second will show as 601, the third as 602 and so on.

Expected behavior: copy the number across the range selected.

@reporter:
Please:
- Write a meaningful Summary
- Attach a sample document (not only screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a
sample document from the scratch). You won't believe how many actions
  for "copy" I know ;-)
- add information
  -- what exactly is unexpected
-- and why do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
  -- concerning your PC
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language) - Really
     "3.3.0 Beta2?
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read a.m. URL
Please excuse me for the question, you did not

Dear Rainer,

I'm not a developer. I'm just an ordinary end user who hoped Libre Office might be a good substitute for Microsoft Office. I have a small two person business that I am starting up, and am working 60 plus hours a week and its very hard with money right now.

So-I tried Libre and had the issue I described. I just checked it again, and there is the same problem. As an end user, I just can't take a chance that Libre Office spreadsheet is adding numbers on its own.

I don't know what else to tell you, or say to you. The issue persists. I would think that closing this bug instead of finding and fixing the issue will cause a lot of people to abandon using Libre. Not to mention cause a lot of problems for people who don't see the program making these errors.

Anyway, I've deleted the program. If you guys ever fix the issue, I might try it again. For now, its not reliable.
