I'm working on a long document (780 pages). I can create footnotes, but every time I hover the mouse over the number of the footnote (not the footnote itself, but the number linking to it in the main text) all the system crashes. The computer log off instantly and after 3 or 4 seconds it shows the "log in" dialog, the kind of dialog it shows when you want to swicht users. I've tested 8 or 10 times. Every time exactly the same, no difference. Hovering the mouse there, and goodbye. Hope it helps, fede
@fede May be you can try to find out what LibO version you use? ;-) Please attach a sample document with some blabla text
Hi there, I'm using this version: LibreOffice 3.3.2 OOO330m19 (Build:202) tag libreoffice-3.3.2.2, Ubuntu package 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 I'm sorry, but I don't know what a blabla text is... thanks a lot, fede
@fede You can attach teh original document or create a new document with nonsense text and footnotes
Created attachment 53283 [details] footnotes problems
I've made this lorem ipsum text, but now I see no issues with footnotes anymore ???? thank you anyway
@fede don't surrender! If it's not too, confidential, you can send your document to me by mail, but aou would have to accept that also some additional developers will use it for debugging. May be you can do a test with 3.4.4? If you are lucky the problem does no longer exist. If you do not want to replace your 3.3 these instructions might be useful: <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel> <>
