Created attachment 52413 [details] test document Please open the attached document in libreoffice and microsoft office. While the formatting of images looks ok, it's completely screwed up in MS Office.
Reproduced in 3.3.4 and 3.5.2 on Fedora 64 bit Writer opens this file so: one picture on 1-th page and one on 2-th msOffice opens both pictures on first page
How is it a bug if MS Word fails to correctly display a doc file? I suggest to: * update the title with something meaningful If this was saved as doc from a ods file * attach the original ods file (so it can be investigated where this glitch is introduced) Otherwise I don't know if there is a whole lot we can fix about MS Word not displaying the image correctly.
Sorry odt file instead of ods file was, what I should have written...
Created attachment 92685 [details] The .doc saved as .odt in LO4.1.4.2 I tried to open the .doc file with different versions of LibreOffice OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 and LibreOffice 4.1.4.2 opens the document with 2 pictures (one in the first page and other in the second page) LibreOffice 4.2.0.1 and 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 602c87b4259d118e5db6d8a990c4695103f916dd TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-01-18_00:02:21) opens the document like MS Word (both pictures in one page, one covers another) I opened the .doc in LibreOffice 4.1.4.2 and save it as .odt (see attachment). The .odt is opened correctly(one image is in the first page and other is in the second page) in all versions of LibreOffice I tried, but if I save it as .doc in any version I tried, it is opened like the first .doc.

Roma - Please give us some more information about this issue and (as Foss suggests), provide us with the original source file (assuming it wasn't originally created as a .doc). Thanks!
It has been a while ago that I've opened this bug. Now, if I open it in the MS Office 2010 it is rendered badly do... I think you should close this bug, since the issue cannot be reproduced by the current version of MS Office. Thanks
