Created attachment 52513 [details] Call log with tp-fs debug messages Version : tested with empathy version 2.34; OS : Both Ubuntu 11.04 and Meego 1.2 same issue; telepathy-farsight version : 0.0.16 gstfarsight : 0.0.26 Summary : VOIP calls not working , Shows status as "Connecting" and No audio Usecase : Call from empathy gtalk account to another google contact. Same was working fine with Ubuntu 10.10 . all the required gstreamer plugins are installed. Please provide some hints. Please refer the attached log ;"empathy_call_log"
Also reported on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=662161 I'm wondering if this could be because of: ** (empathy:1815): WARNING **: Failed to create context for interface 'wlan0': Success
the failed to create context thing is gupnp warning, it shouldn't matter. That said, the ICE stuff seems to never connect... Can you run this in a shell before doing the call and attach the log: NICE_DEBUG=all /usr/bin/empathy-av >nice-log.txt 2>&1
Created attachment 52562 [details] nice log (empathy-av) log taken with NICE_DEBUG=all /usr/bin/empathy-av >nice-log.txt 2>&1
behaviour is also same in Meego 1.2
one more error seen during video call from gstreamer after call gets connected (seen in meego) GST_MESSAGE_ERROR ** Message: Element error: Internal data flow error. -- gstbasesrc.c(2582): gst_base_src_loop (): /GstPipeline:NcsMainPipeline/FsRtpConference:fsrtpconference0/GstBin:bin3/GstNiceSrc:nicesrc2: streaming task paused, reason not-negotiated (-4) please find the attachement for detailed log: video_call_gst_error.log

*** Bug 42838 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
For me, I was able to see the video sent from empathy to my Nexus S for several seconds (but not the other way round), after which the connection got dropped.
Seems like it works with: empathy-3.4.2-1.fc17.x86_64 telepathy-gabble-0.16.0-1.fc17.x86_64 gupnp-igd-0.2.1-1.fc17.x86_64 gssdp-0.12.1-2.fc17.x86_64
Tp-Farsight is old code.. I'm sure the new code has new different bugs.
