Most of these files do not have any copyright/licence statement at all, which is OK, because it gets covered by the XFree86 1.0 licence. The files allegedly licensed under the GPL ('author: foo, license: gpl', is not a proper licence statement, BTW -- you need to have an explicit copyright statement, and at least the start of the licence), are ... slightly more problematic. Please relicense all the GATOS code under either the MIT/X11 or 3-clause BSD licenses (or 2-clause BSD, even better).
bogdan has fixed this in head, cf: theatre{200,_detect}.{c,h} as of august 28 2005.
Hi Bogdan, Please also fix the licence on xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/i2c/uda1380.c.
Changed the license of uda1380c, uda1380h.
