Description Maximilien Renard 2011-10-20 01:33:15 UTC
LibreOffice Impress crashes when dragging any kind of object (text, image, group,...) after holding the left mouse button pressed for about a second on the object (without moving). At that point, the cursor changes and is replaced by an arrow with a square at the bottom left. Once this has happened, dragging the object somewhere else causes a segfault.

Cannot confirm it. Works fine for me with LibO3.4.3 on WinXP.

The bug shows up again exactly as I described.

I agree with Maximilien Renard
I have faced this bug several times during preparing a presentation which involves incorporating a lot of figures (jpeg, svg, png, tiff etc) along with several tables. whenever I select an object (irrespective of whether a text or image), hold the mouse and try to drag it, Impress simply disappears.. i. e. crashes. Along with Impress, other Libre office applications such as Writer etc. also crash if open at the same time.
