(Sorry, almost no technical knowledge.) Card ATI Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] X.Org 1.10.1 Res: 1024x768@60.0hz, GLX Renderer Mesa DRI R100 (RV200 4C57) 20090101 x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL DRI2 GLX Version 1.3 Mesa 7.10.2   
Compiz effects rotate cube and wobbly windows on Linux [ubuntu 11.04, 11.10, linux mint 11] do not work. Can switch workspaces but no rotation effect. This bug appeared from ubuntu 11.04 and did not exist in ubuntu 10.10.  i.e. rotation and wobbly then worked perfectly.  Propriety drivers do not support radeon 7500.  Sorry for lack of technical knowledge, so might have classified this wrongly. My linux mint system is up to date on software as of 29th Oct 2011. I welcome emails requesting further information. Thinkpad T42, by the way.

Sounds like the compiz rotate cube / wobbly windows plugins aren't loaded or misconfigured. Even if there really is a bug, it should be reported at http://bugs.compiz.org/ .
