As can be seen from [0], the quad-invariance test fails with Git/c8db5a3d, which is a regression over Git/8d15268a. This is with the r600g driver on a R700 class chip. Stack: Kernel: 3.1.3 libdrm: 2.4.27-1 Mesa: Git/c8db5a3d X.org: 1.11.1.902 (1.11.2 RC 2) [0] <http://dev.carbon-project.org/misc/piglit/regressions.html>
While trying to bisect this I found out, that this is not a regression at all, but something I can reproduce with all versions of Mesa I still have binaries for. The condition to trigger this bug is to enable (or not disable) KWin's compositing system. Now I'm a bit at a loss, because I'm not sure whether Mesa, KDE/KWin or Piglit is at fault here.
Fixed; at least since e6aad9ba.
Actually close the bug...
