Description Ross Burton 2005-09-05 04:37:04 UTC
I can use avahi-publish-address to publish a name->address mapping on behalf of
another machine, but it would be very useful if I didn't have to run extra
processes but could drop foo.name files into /etc/avahi just like I can with
services.
Comment 1 Trent Lloyd 2005-09-05 10:07:31 UTC
Yes this would be good, I'll address this for 0.4
Comment 2 Trent Lloyd 2005-10-21 22:01:08 UTC
So I lied, I'll be doing this for 0.6

Trent showed interest in this in the past, but I wonder if he's still interested.
