Description illumilore 2011-12-08 23:14:36 UTC
The pdf manual here
http://www.parrot.com/fr/support/guidesutilisateur/asteroid_user-guide_uk_12sept11.pdf
does not render properly on poppler. Numerous elements and words are missing
throughout.
That file does render properly on other pdf viewers such as sumatra or adobe,
so it is an poppler bug.

The document is broken. It says in "187 0 obj" that the font is of type TrueType when it is really of Type1. This results in the font rendering code getting confused and the characters don't show correctly. This can be workarounded with some heuristics, but as the faulty rendering is because of the document being broken it is not really my priority at the moment.

Reproduced with 92ce79f4. Works with master. Looks like it has been fixed by the xpdf-3.03 merge.
