Description BrendaEM 2011-12-19 12:19:29 UTC
I have found that I can repeatedly crash Writer by zooming out: both with the mouse wheel and with the zoom buttons, whereas 3.3.4 does not seem to have this issue.

Thanks for bugreport
Please, verify if in last version of LibreOffice still reproducible
And on another computer or OS this reproducible?
Comment 2 Ángel Luis García García 2012-04-20 12:14:54 UTC
[Not Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 - Windows XP Service Pack 3 Spanish
UI - AMD64"
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2012-07-07 13:53:56 UTC
Could you give a try to a newer version (like 3.5.4) and tell us if you reproduce the problem ?
Comment 4 cyrille grosdemange 2012-10-07 13:55:07 UTC
can't get writer crzash zomming out in last 3.6.3.0 version ... tried mouse wheel, zoom button, slider ...
Comment 5 Julien Nabet 2012-10-07 14:27:48 UTC
I put this tracker to WFM since no feedback from reporter and 2 people don't reproduce with a newer version.

Brenda: if you still reproduce this with a newer version (3.5.X or 3.6.X), don't hesitate to reopen this tracker.

I agree that the bug does seem fixed in the newer versions.

This was a crash to desktop but that is 10 months old. Someone in bug priority was asleep at the switch.

...by which I mean that whoever handled my/this bug report did not do their job in a timely fashion!

Brenda:
Thank you for your feedback.
I agree that if a dev had read you bugtracker and had specifically fixed it, he/she should have reported it.

Now if there was a rewrite of a part of code or a problem found by a static analyzer and quickly fixed for example, it could explain why it hasn't been reported.

Anyway, good to see it's ok now:-)
