I use an Aureon 5.1 USB MK II surround sound card with the surround 5.1 profile.

Using pavucontrol I'd like to set different channel volumes for the card volume ('Output Devices'). But when I set different channel volumes, the maximum of all channel volumes is applied to all channels. So all channels have the same volume.
It works fine if I change the playback channel volumes.

I use the default pulseaudio configuration. The problem also appears when I select the stereo profile of the card.

When I switch the playback output to the internal audio card, I can set the channel volume independently, so maybe it's a driver issue?

it's working with kernel 3.1
