Where can I look for errors (log files, etc.), nothig in /var/log or /opt/libreoffice3.4 Regards, Ioan
1 machine in the world that does not start with an approved version is not a blocker @reporter: I can not see how you try to launch LibO May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully? Then please: - Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is - Attach a sample document (not only screenshot) if the problem seems document related - Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem, starting with the first action after your operating system has booted - add information -- Why you reported this at a WRITER bug -- what EXACTLY is unexpected -- no process launched or only invisible? -- concerning your PC -- concerning your OS (Language) -- concerning your LibO localization (UI language) –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document -- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
@ IOAN NEMES With 3.5.0 problem still exist? And, please, try on another computers, if available.
Dear bug submitter! Due to the fact, that there are a lot of NEEDINFO bugs with no answer within the last six months, we close all of these bugs. To keep this message short, more infos are available @ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/NeedinfoClosure#Statement Thanks for understanding and hopefully updating your bug, so that everything is prepared for developers to fix your problem. Yours! Florian
currently no problem. Changing to WFM
I think WFM is wrong here. WFM does not mean "With a completely different systemI can't see any problems", but "I tested with a System very similar to reporter's and a current LibO Version (see Whiteboard target info in parenthesis), tried hard and intensively with various settings to reproduce the bug, but I can not /no longer reproduce the problem. So it seems it's a problem that is limited to reporter's PC or the problem has vanished." @sasha: "Currently" is too rare. It seems reporter had a problem with LibO 3.4.4 and "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.2 (Santiago)". What LibO version on what Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release version did you test that you can say (with WFM) that the problem has vanished? Please do not change Status from INVALID to WFM without detailed plausible information in your comment what shows that there is no general problem for systems similar to reporter's and a current named LibO version. Currently the reporter did not contribute requested info, what makes this Bug INVALID. Please feel free change status again if new info is available.
Sorry
