When I try to move the glxgears window the server crashes. Doesnt seem to 
matter whether I use EXA or XAA. 
It is also significantly slower FPS than on 6.8.2. The log says dri is 
enabled.

glxgears FPS: ~168 
 
Does not happen for me on: 
Xorg 6.8.2 (Debian packages) glxgears FPS: ~280 
 
Test computer specs:  
x86, radeon 9200SE, Debian unstable (current), kernel 2.6.12-1-686-smp 
(Debian), Xorg CVS
