(In reply to comment #3) > Created attachment 55665 [details] > dmesg There's no trace of the radeon kernel module being loaded. Does the kernel have the fix from bug 43739?
Is this still an issue with a newer driver/kernel?
I have an E2-1800 but it doesn't appear to be detected as a Wrestler. glxinfo yields: OpenGL vendor string: X.Org OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD PALM OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 9.1 OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30 I'm using Mageia Linux Cauldron with kernel 3.8 and radeon driver 7.1. Is this chipset detected correctly? I'm using gnome 3 and UI performance and fluidity is just underwhelming for a GPU of this class. I'm wondering if its been detected and configured correctly by the driver.

samit vats, Ubuntu 11.10 reached EOL on May 9, 2013. For more on this, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases. If this is reproducible in a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal: ubuntu-bug xorg Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.
