It displays an error message saying unable to display XML pages Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to LibreOffice template website 2. Try to download a template (for example: http://templates.libreoffice.org/template-center/personal-budget-template) 3. .... Current behavior: Internet explorar displays an error message saying unable to show XML pages (see attached screenshot) There is a workround. Confirmed on Internet Explorer 8 and Windows XP. The error in English is: ======================================================= The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'http://templates.libreoffice.org/template-center...
Also, the workaround works as it should.

Downloading templates is not working with internet explorer. Works with Firefox.
Use Firefox then. Is this still happening with latest IE?
This is still a problem with Internet Explorer. Although Firefox is a workaround, the fact that the template website does not work correctly with IE will confuse a number of users. Perhaps as a temporary measure, the workaround is explained on the website.
