Internet Explorer error message (note that the error message is displayed in spanish because I am working in South America)

Problem description: 

When using Internet Explorar you cannot download templates. It displays an error message saying unable to display XML pages

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to LibreOffice template website
2. Try to download a template (for example: http://templates.libreoffice.org/template-center/personal-budget-template)
3. ....

Current behavior:

Internet explorar displays an error message saying unable to show XML pages (see attached screenshot)

There is a workround. See: http://templates.libreoffice.org/template-center/personal-budget-template

Expected behavior:

One should be able to download templates using Internet Explorer without a workaround

Confirmed on Internet Explorer 8 and Windows XP. The error in English is:

The XML page cannot be displayed 
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Also, the workaround works as it should.

Downloading templates is not working with internet explorer. Works with Firefox.

Use Firefox then.

Is this still happening with latest IE?

This is still a problem with Internet Explorer. Although Firefox is a workaround, the fact that the template website does not work correctly with IE will confuse a number of users. Perhaps as a temporary measure, the workaround is explained on the website.
