Description nathan.neff 2012-02-04 11:03:00 UTC
On the first page of the wizard, I'm given the choice of "Empty
Presentation" and "From Template". If I choose "Empty Presentation"
and press "Next", I see the same choices for choosing a template
that I saw on Page 1 of the Wizard.

To me, this is confusing and raises these questions:
- "Are the templates on Page 2 the same as the ones on Page 1?"
- "Why am I being presented with another chance to select a template?"

I suggest to either show the choices for templates on Page 1 or Page 2, but not both.

In addition, if I choose a template on Page 1, then that template's name is *not* shown correctly on Page 2.

For example, on Step 1, choose "Presentation Backgrounds" from the "Select a Slide Design" box.
Then, choose the "Blue and Grey" background and press "Next".
On Page 2 of the Wizard, you will now see "<Original>" as being selected. I now understand what <Original> means (It means the slide background I selected on Page 1), but I didn't understand what it meant to begin with, and sort of goes against the main purpose of a wizard.

Thanks for your time,

Thanks for new idea
Please, create pictures to show how it should be in 1 and 2 step of wizard
And attach them to this bugreport. Thanks in advance.

These are two different things when you go through the wizard. The first is for physical text, empty presentation is just no text, the next step is to select background (but still no text). If you select a template on step 1 there is physical text, the next stage would again only be for backgrounds. This isn't a bug but instead acts how it is supposed to act. Thanks for reporting, please don't hesitate to report other bugs. Also if you have another comment on this one please post it and we'll take a look at it. Thanks again
