Description Jani Lahtinen 2005-09-23 04:21:51 UTC
I tried to compile the Cairo-1.0.0 on FreeBSD 5.4 from the sources by first
'./configure', which reported no problems, but when I issued 'make' it says:
make: don't know how to make 8080/. Stop
Comment 1 Jani Lahtinen 2005-09-25 23:48:10 UTC
The error was with my machines make.conf which included a variable
HTTP_PROXY=http://something.somewhere:8080/, which cased the confusion. The
problem does not appear to be with cairo.

Ah, I'm glad you figured this one out. Otherwise, it had me stumped.

Have fun with cairo!
