This bug was originally reported on Launchpad at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/881407

Evince shows wrong colors in comparison to Adobe Reader, opening the attached PDF-Document.

Attached are screenshots from evince (3.2.1) and acroread (9.4.6) on ubuntu oneiric AMD64.

This is still occurring on Ubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" beta 1 with the following packages:

evince 3.3.90-0ubuntu2
libpoppler19 0.18.4-1ubuntu1
libcairo2 1.10.2-6.1ubuntu2

It turns out that the PDF file is too big to attach to this bug report. It is however attached to the Launchpad bug report linked in this bug's original description.

Ubuntu keeps compiling poppler without openjpeg support and hence this file does not work correctly. They should get their act together and compile poppler correctly, you can try telling them, but the previous times seem to have been ignored so don't hold your breath.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I will update the Launchpad bug report.
