example ods for trying the object rotation

In the case a DRAW document uses small scales (e.g. 1:100) so that ruler will show values in Meters, all objects BEYOND x=5m and y=5m will be rotated in such a way, that they are re-positioned to a maximum to 5m as pivot point position instead of the real position beyond 5 m.

Please refer to the given video (wmv for Windows Media Player) and example odg.
Just try to rotate then yellow rectangle via context menu "Position and Size / Rotation / Pivot point"
(german: "Position und Größe / Drehung / Drehpunkt")

The given example will IMHO reproduce the effects.
OS: Windows Xp Pro SP3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2410M 2.30 GHz
RAM: 3 GB

Effects reproduced with LibO 3.4.3, 3.4.5, 3.5.0RC3,
LOdev3.5.2RC-nightlyBuild20120312 on WindowsXpSP3

AND LibO 3.5.0RC3 on Windows7Pro-64bit

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present on a currently supported version of LibreOffice (4.3.5 or later): https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the version of LibreOffice and your operating system, and any changes you see in the bug behavior

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a short comment that includes your version of LibreOffice and Operating System

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case)

Thank you for your help!

This seems to be fixed now, no 5m upper limit with pivot point. Closing as WFM
