Created attachment 58633 [details]
attachment was created with LO, but LO refusing to even open it !

I create an spreadsheet and save it as csv file. Then open it again in LO, it brings up convert dialog box and recognizes separator, shows values in columns, all very well. But once opened for editing, the commas representing empty cells all show up together with the next non-empty value.

A second csv file, created just the way above, shows up correctly in the converter dialog, but in the edit window, only the column headers show up, rest of the values get hidden.

I see a new trend of working features breaking in LO. in OpenOffice, whatever features existed, worked very well. This kind of brokenness was never experienced. But in LO, printing is badly broken in LO writer, spreadsheet cannot handle even CSVs, LO is almost becoming unusable, leave alone compare to the competition.

In 3.5.1 your table is opened fine, except the data in rows end at column "9".

That already confirms the bug report. May I mark the bug as New ?

The data is imported correctly with LibO 3.5.x, there simply is no data (just in the header row) after column AS (the '9' mentioned), the sequences of consecutive commas ,,,,,, in the CSV file indicate empty fields, and these are imported as empty cells.
