xf4bpp is a nasty combination of 4bpp screen support in 8bpp pixmaps, along with a basic vga driver (direct I/O pokes, etc). fortunately it's not very widely used (apm, chips, cirrus, mach64, trident, tseng, vesa, and vga). one of two strategies should be taken: - just drop 4bpp support - convert it to internally use fb instead of mfb/cfb, factor out the vga access bits to vgahw or somewhere else that's more appropriate
