OS: Win XP SP3 _English_
Setting for Non-Unicode Programs: Chinese (Simplified)

I am a German student of Chinese. When installing the LibreOffice I get the German installer (not sure how the installer's language gets selected... regional settings?). The result is that every time there is an es-zett (sharp-s: ß) or any other German umlaut, the installer displays it and the adjacent character as gibberish Chinese character. Does the installer not support Unicode yet?

I could not reproduce the bug with in same environment (English Win XP SP3, Chinese (PRC) set as non-Unicode language, German regional settings). Strings in German installer are encoded in windows-1250.
