I'm on Ubuntu and I've seen similar problems as in screenshot 2 when installing GTK+ etc. from gnome3-team PPA (i. e. a PPA that could be used to preview Gnome 3 back when Ubuntu didn't ship this stuff). This might be NOTOURBUG ... at least if you see screen corruption in other apps as well.
I can't confirm this at all with Version 3.7.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 21f8c28) on a Linux Bodhi build. I've honestly never seen this before and I agree with the previous post that it's probably not our bug but if you could test this out (best on a clean install of the distro but if not, at least without third party repos being used) that would be great. Can you: a) do the above? If not: b) let us know about third party repos you might have installed c) provide details abut your GTK packages.
