I'd like to report a bug in libre office 3.3.4 on linux ubuntu 11.04 when i open a microsoft xls file ,precisly excel 2003 file, and everything is ok, except when i try to do print preview and than scrole with mouse wheel a bit down it crashes every single time... and it happens with all excel files from windows partition i'm trying to open...
There won't be any new version of 3.3 (see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.3_release). Could you try to reproduce this on 3.5.1 version (or wait for 3.5.2 which would come in few days) ? Some information for Ubuntu 11.04 install here : http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.documentfoundation.libreoffice.user/17859 If you still got have a problem, could you tell if it's on any Excel 2003 file or a specific file ? If specific, could you attach the file to the tracker ?
i have few more computers runing exactly same linux and libre office and i don't have these problems... it seems like specific problem to that machine or some hardware in that machine or even printer, it's samsung printer ml-1510, others have HP printers... i'll try to install latest version of libre office to se will it happend again
ok i manage to solve this bug with soulution found on internet.. when i use "sudo apt-get autoremove lo-menubar" command and after that menubar is uninstalled problem is gone.. I can print preview all day long without any crashes..
First, thank you for your feedback. Have you checked you had the last version of lo-menubar ? Perhaps, it could be a bug to submit here : https://launchpad.net/lo-menubar Meanwhile i put this problem to RESOLVED/NOTOURBUG. Feel free to reopen if you think I'm wrong.
LibreOffice is constantly crashing. It's very annoying, and it's forcing me to manually save all the time just in case. In one hour, it might crash two or three times. Very annoying.
jayray: please open a new bugtracker and give some information (version, env, etc.), use this link for this: http://libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
