Greetings: My name is Derik Taylor, and I am attempting to use the LibreOffice Base software but to no avail. When I open the software it asks if I wish to open or create a database. If I choose to create a database it will let me, but it will crash upon opening the created database. If I tell the software to open the created database it crashes as well. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit, it is fully up to date. If you have any further questions please send them to ndguardian@gmail.com
Here what you can do : - try to remove (or backup) your LO profile and try again - try to uninstall completely (LO profile included), clean the Windows registry with a free tool like ccleaner then install again and try again. - give your Java version - do you use LO extension ?
I can create and open new database with LO-3.5.2 on Windows XP SP3. I do not see any other similar bug, so it must be somehow specific to your system => can't block the release => lowering the severity. Please, try what suggested Julien. We can't move forward without further information.
