Description Jiero 2012-04-08 07:59:42 UTC
Start with a document, the user was a newbie he know in general Ctrl+F will call the search bar and he did.

After the search, he think the panel use too much space on screen and cannot find a visible close button(in graphical aspect) so he dragged the panel up and find it and click. Then crash.

I tried this out.
And also found if run with "--sync" then crash won't happen.

The program 'soffice' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 7984 error_code 8 request_code 42 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I don't reproduce this on 4.1.3 Debian package.
I put it as WFM.
Jiero: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can still reproduce this.
