To repeat bug you must:

4. start typing "Sans"
When you press "S" my Spreadsheet every time crashes.

On Pc Debian x86-64 I don't reproduce this with 3.5 branch updated yesterday (so not exactly 3.5.2) or on master (future 3.6).

Do you reproduce this only with fonts beginning by "Sans" ?
Do you reproduce this on a brand new file ?
Could you try again with a brand new LO profile for the test ?

I've check this on Ubuntu Laptop with LO 3.4.5 and all is OK.
My workstation is WinXP Pro + AMD Turion Ultra X2 + LO 3.5.2.2 (281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f) Polish Localization

If you write letters: "r","s" in previously send sample it kills LO.
> Do you reproduce this on a brand new file ?
Submited sample was being created brand new.

What do you mean "a brand new LO profile"?

I did some more testing with a brand new empty ods and odt files.
I've checked all keys with the fonts combo box.
I've foud that the bug is more widespread across LO. I've found this problem in the Writer also.
Sequence to reproduce the bug. Works in the Spreadsheet and the Writer.
1. Open LO
2. Choose the Spreadsheet or the Writer
3. Don't touch the grid or the page, just drop down the fonts combo box from toolbar.
4. Press "s" or "r"
5. LO stops responding, WinXP wants to send a Fault Report to MS.

LO profile means "Libreoffice profile". On Windows, it corresponds to the directory located in c:\documents and settings\...LibreOffice (I don't remember since I generally use Linux)
Could you also tell if you've got :
- specific LO extensions (I mean extensions installed after LO setup)
- specific fonts (I mean fonts which are not included on Windows XP out of the box)

This is a Calc bug, right? At least at the visible surface. Therefore adjusted 'Component'.

Yes, I can. I've removed LO profile and reinstalled LO 3.5.4.

No, I don't. Vanilla installation.

Yes, I've some extra fonts. This machine is my workstation. I've few eng. software suits here.

Tested with LO 3.5.4

I know there are some bugs fixed concerning some fonts.
Could you give a try to 3.6.2 and if you still reproduce the crash, could you give names of the extra fonts you installed?
Comment 7 Julien Nabet 2013-01-03 22:05:56 UTC
No feedback since several months so update to WFM

Pawel: if you still reproduce this with last LO version (3.6.4), don't hesitate to reopen this tracker and, if possible, indicate the extra fonts you installed.
