Format paintbrush fails to remove bullets.

Create a new text document.

Type following text: (replace * with a bullet)

Test
* Test

Select The first line, click on format paintbrush

Select line 2, the bullet doesn't disappear

1) why do you think, bullets should be removed with format brush? 
ok, in the opposite direction (i.e. adding bullet), it works (bullet format is transferred from list item to standard paragraph via Format Paintbrush), but if you try the same with numbered list format, it's also only working for adding but not for removing format. In addition, you can change Format from Nubering to Bullet or vice versa using Format Paintbrush. 

2) Workaround/better way to do it: Toggle bullets with Shift+F12 or press 'Bullets On/Off' icon in  Formatting toolbar (resp. F12 or 'Numbering On/Off' for Numbering Format).

In summary I'd say, it's intended behavior. Feel free to reopen if you disagree.
